Is hypnosis real?

Yes! Hypnosis is a scientifically supported state of focused awareness that allows your subconscious mind to be receptive to positive suggestions and transformation. It’s a natural state we enter daily. Some examples of trance include, remembering a wonderful memory, believing your fave actor’s role in a movie, or getting completely fascinated by a great book!

Does hypnosis work?

Absolutely. Hypnosis can help you release limiting beliefs, rewire patterns, and step into your most empowered self. Results depend on your intention, openness, and guidance. Where there is a will, there is a way. Here with me, Clara Rey–there’s a whole path ready just for you!

Is hypnosis dangerous?

No. Hypnosis is completely safe when done by a trained professional. You remain fully aware, in control, and your subconscious always protects you. 

Will I lose control during hypnosis?

No. Your mind is equipped with a fantastic part of you that always protects you (conscious awareness.) Hypnosis has a lot of myths associated with here you won’t be dancing like a chicken… you’ll be reaching goals and transforming the way you’ve been wanting to.

Can hypnosis help with anxiety?

Yes. Hypnosis addresses the subconscious patterns that create stress or fear, helping you calm your mind, release tension, and build confidence.

Can I hypnotize myself?

Yes. Self-hypnosis is a powerful tool for personal growth and habit change. I provide guidance on how to learn to hypnotize yourself and guided recordings so you can safely practice at home. 

Can hypnosis help with depression?

It can support healing by uncovering and reframing subconscious blocks that fuel patterns that keep one stuck. It works best as part of a holistic approach with a trained professional if you have a medical diagnosis. I do work side by side with mental health professionals as part of a wholistic approach if you’re already seeing a therapist.

Can hypnosis help with weight loss, smoking, nail biting, etc,?

Yes. Hypnosis can shift the underlying beliefs, emotional triggers, and patterns that make change hard. It helps align your subconscious mind with your conscious goals.

FAQ: About Clara Rey & Working Together

What makes Clara’s approach different?

My work blends contemporary hypnosis, NLP, parts work, energy work, and emotional alchemy. It’s a soulful yet grounded approach that bridges science, energy, and psychology to create deep, embodied transformation. I am focused on creating a mind-body-soul experience designed for you.

What does your approach entail?

We use the process of Design Thinking and its principles to recognize where your future self and you come together to create the bridge between you as you are and the you that awaits exactly where you want to be. How long are sessions?

Most sessions last about 70 minutes. The time allows for discussion, hypnosis, and integration — creating space and continuity for true transformation, not just quick fixes.  

Do I need to prepare before my session?

For your intial session, all you will need is you. When you are part of my hypnocoaching cohort, you will have soul-quests to complete that will further work during our time in between sessions.

How many sessions will I need?

That depends on your reason for wanting to work with me. There are topics that hypnocoaching can address in two to three sessions. However, transformation coaching at core level is a process, not a product. 

Can we work online or in person?

Sessions are available online through secure video, or in person if you are local in South East Florida or North New Jersey/Jersey City Both formats are equally effective–hypnosis works beautifully in virtual settings.

What’s the difference between coaching and hypnocoaching?

Traditional coaching works with your conscious mind, setting goals and strategies. Hypnocoaching adds subconscious reprogramming, allowing you to release resistance and embody the change, not just think about it. When both aspects of the mind are in tune, alignment is the outcome.

What results can I expect from hypnocoaching?

Clients often experience more clarity, confidence, emotional balance, and self-trust. The results unfold in both subtle and profound ways. What begins as a step towards your journey brings a snowball of positive changes that shift your reality.

How do I know if this is right for me?
